About Us
Precision Avian Artistry was born from John Barresi’s passion for capturing the elegance of nature. His intense continual study of natural live reference and more than two decades of experience result in not just the preservation of your avian trophy, but elevation to its most pristine form. John’s dedication to the pursuit of perfection in this artform has led to state and regional recognition at a Master’s level as a Certified Distinguished Taxidermist. A sought-after avian specialist, he has received top honors with Best of Category awards in multiple species (including State Champion), and specialty awards for his artistic creations.
While wild specimens of all kinds are welcome in our studio, we specialize in waterfowl and other avian wildlife. Upon your arrival to our studio, we will inspect your trophy and provide recommendations on how to best display it based on your taste, the specimen’s features, behaviors, and natural habitat.
We will approach each piece with skill, expertise, and finesse; which allows for the correction of many flaws and blemishes. However, please also be aware that if your trophy has sustained damage or wear that may hinder proper mounting, we will advise you as such. We take pride in your satisfaction and eagerness to display the trophy which you earned, and look forward to serving you by memorializing it with painstaking attention to detail and enhancement of its finest features.
